A Message From The Principal

Greetings Stingray Families:

We have added a few new features to our website to include Google Presentations to give you an inside look at the happenings at FES.  Fairfield Elementary is busy helping all of our students to become Educated, Excited, and Engaged as we Sail from Ordinary to Extraordinary, Every Child, Every Chance, Every Day.  We were featured in the Connector, our districts monthly newsletter, for the month of January.  We are very proud of the support that parents gave us at the 2nd Quarter Awards Day.  We believe the turnout was our largest crowd ever and our students were excited about receiving recognition for the following accomplishments:

œ     A Honor Roll

œ     A/B Honor Roll

œ     Perfect Attendance

œ     Reading Counts Awards

œ     PASS Met and Exemplary Awards including the “Scholars T-Shirts”

Students who scored Met or Exemplary in all areas visited an all expense trip to Frankie’s Fun Park and received a t-shirt.  Students who scored Met or Exemplary in at least three areas will be visiting the Plex on February 6th and lunch at Ryan’s.  Any student who scored at least one met or exemplary will be treated to a pizza party on February 4th.  All students received a t-shirt that they may wear on Fridays.

Be sure to send us your email address because beginning this month, we will begin sharing flyers and newsletters to those who have signed up with their email address.  This is our School Improvement Council’s goal to help increase parent involvement through communication.  Thank you for visiting our website and please let us know if we can assist you in any way.

Educationally yours,

Dr. Tammy F. Martin
