Message from the Principal:
Greetings FES Families and Stakeholders:
We are so excited about all the exciting things that are happening in Stingray Lane. Be sure to check out the October newsletter “The Treasure Map” to witness the many learning opportunities our students are participating in on a daily basis. Our “Stingrays” are experiencing innovative learning practices in our new STM2 Lab. Our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders are excited about learning math using manipulatives, word problems, and games. Ms. Wiggins is the instructor and she uses all available resources such as newspaper to make math come alive. Our “Singrays” is the signature choir that has created our own theme song which incorporates our life skills and lifelong guidelines encouraging students to become stronger. Mr. Magwood, music teacher, has definitely gotten all our students excited and engaged with learning and putting what students have learned in other disciplines to music. We are so proud of our students and teachers. Be sure to check out the student engagement pictures on our website as well as any other features on the website. Thanks for visiting our website.
