A Message From The Principal

Our motto this year is Charting the Course to Leadership Every Child, Every Chance, Every Day. It is the vision of Fairfield Elementary School in collaboration with the community to promote a safe, caring and respectful educational environment for all students through the use of highly effective teaching best practices to create successful, life-long learners, as we sail toward excellence.

Fairfield Elementary is pleased to announce its first journalism and communications team. This team is currently composed of one fourth grader, Kelly Veintimilla, and three fifth graders, Laila Ashford, Aniya Ruff, and Paul Veintimilla. These students work closely with literacy coach, Tracey Ratchford to research and write articles for the school’s monthly newsletter, The Treasure Map. Students also work to keep the television in the lobby up-to-date with current events and announcements. Students are currently in training, but will gradually work to fully publish The Treasure Map Newsletter.
